All mattresses below are manufactured specially for use on mid/high sleepers and bunk beds, giving excellent comfort and support, but being shallower than an average mattress to maximise the safety margin from the top of the mattress to the top of the safety rails.

Note that Thuka beds are manufactured to European sizes and so whilst a non-Thuka mattress can be used with a Hit bed,
a small gap (approx 3") will be left at the foot of the bed. We strongly recommend using the correct size
mattress on mid/high sleepers and top bunks as an incorrect size mattress can present a trip hazard. If using an existing
mattress you should also ensure that the depth of the mattress is less than around 6" to ensure there is sufficient
distance from the top of the mattress to the top of the safety rails.
